About the Artist:

Schooled as a goldsmith, this son of a Limburg artist and jeweller mostly produces religious art: chalices, candleholders, tabernacles, crosses … but also jewellery: rings, necklaces… And also very pure, almost mythical metal figurines, often, but not always religiously inspired.

For him, simplicity is “consciously striving for the soul and the meaning of our life”. “A statue is a visual expression that communicates an idea without limiting a qualitative execution”, is how he summarises art.
