As part of Knokke-Heist's 2020 post-coronavirus relaunch plan, Dries Boutsen is exhibiting three sculptures this summer on the existing concrete bases in the square located between Major Quaillestraat, Bergdreef and De Wandelaar.

SEAS – Scharpoord

From 11 September to 8 November 2020, Dries Boutsen will also be holding an exhibition entitled ‘don't let the kid out’ at SEAS – Scharpoord Experimental Art Space, the exhibition space at Scharpoord Cultural Centre. The exhibition can be visited daily, free of charge, from 10 am to 7 pm during the period mentioned above.

About the Artist:

Dries Boutsen was born in Hasselt in 1993. He currently lives and works in Ghent. 

Dries Boutsen makes collages every day and also tries to convert this technique into sculptures that he likes to tailor to the available exhibition space. 

In June 2019, Boutsen completed an MA in Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent and has been admitted to the postgraduate programme of the HISK - Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Ghent for the period 2020-2021.
